Wellness
AMAALA is built around health, wellbeing and recovery, with resorts and concepts combining spa, fitness, treatments and personal wellbeing.

DESTINATION
AMAALA is a new exclusive destination on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast, developed with a focus on wellness, nature, luxury and sustainable travel experiences.
Crystal-clear seas, dramatic mountains, modern resorts and some of the region’s most ambitious wellness concepts come together here.
AMAALA is developed by Red Sea Global and forms part of Saudi Arabia’s investment in new destinations along the Red Sea.
The aim is to create a destination where luxury, health, nature and sustainability meet.
Rather than large, densely built tourist areas, AMAALA is planned around low-density development with careful attention to its surrounding landscape.
The Red Sea, mountains, wellness experiences and exclusive resorts take centre stage.
For Scandinavian travellers seeking something beyond a traditional beach holiday, AMAALA could become one of Saudi Arabia’s most interesting destinations.
AMAALA is built around health, wellbeing and recovery, with resorts and concepts combining spa, fitness, treatments and personal wellbeing.
Clear water, coral reefs and marine experiences make the area appealing for snorkelling, diving, sailing and boating.
AMAALA focuses on the upper end of the travel market, with exclusive resorts, villas and high standards of service.
Coast, desert, mountains and sea come together in a dramatic landscape unlike many traditional resort areas.
Low-density development and a wellness focus make AMAALA particularly appealing to travellers seeking relaxation and a slower pace.
THE HEART OF AMAALA
Triple Bay is one of AMAALA’s central areas. It brings together several resorts, wellness concepts, a marina, yacht club and marine experiences.
The landscape combines clear Red Sea water with mountains and natural bays. Triple Bay is developed to offer a more exclusive, peaceful experience than traditional large holiday towns.

AMAALA brings together international luxury and wellness brands. The five resorts below were officially reported open in 2026. This does not confirm room availability for your trip.

AMAALA is designed as a destination where wellness is not simply an add-on to a holiday, but a central part of the experience itself.
Depending on the resort and programme, your stay may include:
The Red Sea is an important part of the AMAALA experience. The area is known for clear water, coral reefs and a rich marine environment.
Activities may include:
Availability depends on the resort, season and provider.
AMAALA Yacht Club is central to the destination’s marine identity. Located in Marina Village, it is developed for sailing, yachting and social experiences by the Red Sea.
Red Sea Global describes AMAALA Marina as part of the Yacht Club in 2026. Access to the club, marina and activities must be arranged separately; a resort stay does not automatically include full club access.

Corallium Marine Life Institute is planned as an important part of AMAALA’s work in marine research, education and conservation.
The aim is to help visitors understand Red Sea ecosystems while supporting research and conservation. Public visitor access is not confirmed in the sources we checked. Check availability and opening hours before travelling.
AMAALA has a strong sustainability and regenerative tourism profile. Red Sea Global states that the destination is powered by 100 per cent renewable energy, with conservation, water management and marine protection central to the project.
Only a limited part of the total area is intended for development, helping preserve the landscape around the resorts. These are the developer’s statements about the project, not independent environmental certification of an individual hotel.
For most Scandinavian travellers, October to April is likely to be the most comfortable period. Temperatures are generally more pleasant for beaches, outdoor activities, sailing, wellness, excursions and outdoor dining.
Summer can be very hot. Consider coastal heat and humidity when planning activities.
An excellent choice for couples seeking romance, tranquillity, luxury and beautiful surroundings.
A natural choice for travellers who want wellness, fitness, spa and recovery to be an important part of their holiday.
For travellers who prioritise the resort, service, privacy and high standards.
